Doug Walker, DDS

Personal Life

“My wife Christin and I, are from Columbus, Ohio and relocated to South Carolina in June of 2013 to escape the cold weather of the Midwest. We both grew up in Canton, Ohio and met in high school.In 2009, we married after Christin completed her Nursing degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. We love spending time with our new daughter Camilla, and our Yorkshire Terrier, Kevin. We also enjoy traveling with family, watching sports, relaxing at the beach, golfing, and biking. Regarding dentistry, I believe it’s a very personal experience and I’m passionate about keeping that the focus of our entire team.”

Professional Life

Dr. Walker attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio for his undergraduate degree, and went on to complete his Doctorate degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He has completed 500+ hours of advanced training in restorative and implant dentistry, IV and oral conscious sedation, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics under some of the most well respected and experienced clinicians in the profession. To provide the best dentistry available, Dr. Walker continues to stay up to date on the latest advancements in modern dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Dental Society for Anesthesiology.

Terry Dingbaum, DDS

Personal Life

“I share Dr. Walker’s passion to give patients an extraordinary experience through our unique approach to personalized dentistry. Beyond patient care, I treasure spending time with my wife Sue, and our children (Jack and Emma). We look forward to raising our children in the stunningly beautiful low country of South Carolina. I enjoy snow skiing, road biking, photography, reading and learning. I’ve been part of dental mission trips to remote areas of Bolivia, the Philippines, Jamaica, and underserved areas within the U.S. In 2002 I had the privilege of participating in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics…as part of the downhill ski course support crew. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your family!”

Professional Life

Dr. Dingbaum attended Creighton University for his undergraduate degree, and went on to complete his doctoral degree at Creighton University Dental School. Following dental school, he served as a dentist in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. He has completed advanced clinical training at the Dawson Academy, the Midwest Implant Institute, the Kois Institute, and an externship at the Advanced Dental Implant Institute. His approach to patient care begins with a goal to develop a connection with every patient and serve as his or her oral health advocate. He believes that getting to know and understand his patients allows him to create the most effective personalized plan for their dental care. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Chicago Dental Society.
